This is My Story

Have you ever stopped to think that your story, the very moments that make up your life, might actually be God’s handwriting on the pages of your heart? Every triumph, every heartbreak, every season of waiting and wonder is part of His divine story unfolding through you. “This is my story, this is my song.” Those timeless lyrics remind us that our lives are not accidents or coincidences. They are testimonies, living proof of a personal God who is constantly at work in us and through us!

Each day we have the opportunity to seek God’s direction and surrender our will to His. Life always becomes more purposeful and peaceful when we place it in His hands. When we stop striving for control and instead allow God to lead, we discover that He weaves even the hardest moments into something beautiful. The story He writes is one of redemption, purpose, and grace.

God never wastes an experience. Every joy and every hardship equips us to minister to others in ways we never could have imagined – Isn’t that wonderful? We serve a Mighty God! When we turn to Him for hope, for peace, and for rest, He renews our strength, just as Isaiah 40:31 promises. Maybe you are in the middle of a chapter that feels uncertain or painful. Take heart, God is still writing. Ask yourself: What story is He crafting in your life right now? What has He shown you, taught you, or healed in you that might encourage someone else?

The Holy Spirit walks with us through every step, guiding, comforting, and uniting us. He gives us the courage to share our stories and the wisdom to see how God is using them for good. Your testimony holds power because it reveals the heart of a God who doesn’t waste a single thing, not a story, not a struggle, not a single tear – thank goodness!

So, dear church family, I lovingly challenge you to tell your story. Share how God has met you, changed you, and carried you. Someone needs the hope that your testimony brings. Let God continue writing His beautiful story through you, one faithful chapter at a time.
